Information on US Soccer’s 13U Ball Recommendation

Here is a LINK to US Soccer’s recommendation regarding ball size and mass for the 13U age group as updated during the US Soccer 2023 AGM.The US Soccer recommendation is not mandated. There are multiple factors involved in making a transition from current practices to a new recommendation. For Fall 2023, EDP Soccer will continue to use and allow use of Size 5 balls in the 13U age group for play in EDP Soccer managed leagues and events. By January 2024, EDP Soccer will announce its policy for Spring 2024.
