
The EDP Spring Kickoff PA, now in its fourth year, has become one of the most popular Spring pre-season events in the state. With close to 200 participating teams, the one-day event featured Boys teams on Saturday and Girls teams on Sunday. The field of teams included over 80 clubs from six different states. Games were played at Big Show Sports Complex, The Proving Grounds, and West Chester East High School in PA.

Philadelphia SC 16 Azzurri dominated Bracket A in the Boys 8U/9U Red Division by securing three decisive wins, scoring a staggering 27 goals while conceding just one, finishing atop the standings with nine points. FC DELCO Black Conshy '17 (B) claimed second place with two victories, including a 5-0 shutout against Reading Rage Surf B16 and a 4-0 win over Deep Run Valley 2016 Boys Blue.
In the Boys 10U Red Division, Reading Rage Surf B15 emerged as the top team in Bracket A with two wins and a draw, finishing with seven points. They showcased strong offensive play, including a dominant 5-0 win and a crucial 3-2 victory against Tru Tekkers NYC Elite. Tru Tekkers claimed second place with six points, securing wins over FA Euro New York Bridgeview 2015 Academy II (2-1) and Hulmeville SC Lightning (5-1).
Elite Soccer LI LIGHTNING dominated Bracket A in the Boys 11U Red Division, finishing with a perfect 3-0 record and nine points. Their balanced attack and solid defense led them to key victories, including a 4-0 win over Anthracite FC 2014 Boys Santos and a hard-fought 2-1 victory against HEX FC Keystone USYS Black 14B. HEX FC secured second place with six points, showcasing their offensive strength with 5-0 and 4-0 victories.
In the Boys 12U Red Division, Vereinigung Erzgebirge SC Leipzig and Samuel Recreation Samuels Falcons - 2013 finished neck and neck at the top of Bracket A, both earning seven points. VE Leipzig claimed first place on goal differential after a dominant 6-0 win and a crucial 2-1 victory over Warrington Thunder. Samuels Falcons also impressed, securing wins against Quakertown (4-0) and Warrington (1-0), while earning a hard-fought 1-1 draw against VE Leipzig. Warrington Thunder picked up a narrow 1-0 win over Quakertown but struggled in their other matches, finishing third. With strong attacking play and solid defense, VE Leipzig edged out the competition to take the top spot.
Anthracite FC 2012 Boys Celtic dominated Bracket A in the Boys 13U Red Division, finishing with a perfect 3-0 record. They showcased their attacking prowess with a 12-goal haul across three matches, including a commanding 5-1 win and a 4-0 shutout. Cecil FC secured second place with six points, earning victories over Delaware FC (3-1) and Haverford SC (3-1), but falling short against the undefeated Anthracite FC.
Anthracite FC 2011 Boys Arsenal emerged as the top team in the Boys 14U Red Division, securing a perfect 3-0 record. Their balanced attack and solid defense led them to crucial wins, including a tight 2-1 victory over Whitpain Freedom, which ultimately decided the bracket. Whitpain Freedom finished second with two wins, showing their offensive strength in a 3-0 win over HEX FC and a 3-1 result against Western Lehigh.
Anthracite FC 2010B AFC Bayern secured the top spot in the Boys 15U Red division with a strong undefeated performance, finishing with two wins and a draw. Their key 3-0 victory over Lancaster Elite in the final match sealed their first-place finish. HEX FC Dominion remained unbeaten as well but settled for second place after two draws, including a crucial 1-1 result against Anthracite FC.
The Boys 16U Red Division was tightly contested, with HEX FC Dominion USYS 09B securing the top spot despite only one win. Their solid defense, allowing zero goals, helped them edge out Fever SC on goal difference, as both teams finished with five points. Fever SC also remained unbeaten but had two draws, including a key 0-0 result against HEX FC.
The Boys 17U/18U Red Division was closely contested, with Lehigh Valley United 2007 Boys EDP emerging as the top team with seven points. Their key victory was a 2-1 win over PA Classics, which proved decisive in securing first place. They also put in a strong 4-1 performance against Lititz Youth SC before finishing with a 0-0 draw against United Philly Soccer. PA Classics Elite 08 finished just behind with six points, securing wins over United Philly Soccer (1-0) and Lititz Youth (1-0). Their only loss came against Lehigh Valley United, which ultimately cost them the top spot.
Keystone FC Pre-Academy '16G dominated the Girls 8U/9U Red Bracket with three wins, scoring 14 goals and conceding just 1. Vereinigung Erzgebirge SC VE Tempo Grey finished second with two wins and one loss.
Black Diamond Soccer Club BDSC Surge dominated the Girls 10U Red Bracket, winning all three matches with 13 goals scored and only 5 conceded. Colonial SC Colonial Cobras Black 15 finished second, with two wins and one loss, scoring 9 goals and conceding 4.
Delran FC Soccer DFC Premier triumphed in the Girls 11U Red Bracket, winning all their matches, including a 1-0 victory in the final over Haverford SC 2014 Hawks (Girls). In Bracket A, Reading Rage Surf G14 Blue secured second place, defeating Montgomery United SC 2014 Girls APEX, while Haverford SC dominated Bracket B with a perfect record.
Anthracite FC 2013 Girls Barca dominated the Girls 12U Red Bracket with three wins, including a 4-0 victory over HEX FC KA 2013 Girls Blue in their final match. Warrington SC 2013G Warrington Hurricanes secured second place, defeating HEX FC KA 2013 Girls Blue 1-0 and drawing 1-1 with West-Mont United S.A 2013G White.
Fever SC 12G Academy Red dominated the Girls 13U Red Bracket, winning all three matches, including a 2-0 victory over Pennsylvania Soccer Academy PSA 2012 Fury in their final match. North Union United SC NUU 12F Strikers secured second place with a 2-0 win over Pennsylvania Soccer Academy and a draw against Lancaster Elite FC 2012 Girls.
HEX FC Dominion USYS 11G topped the Girls 14U Red Bracket with two wins and a draw, finishing with 7 points. They were closely followed by HEX FC Keystone ECNL-RL 11G, who earned 5 points with a win and two draws.
Central Susquehanna SC CSSC Phoenix 10 dominated the Girls 15U Red Bracket, winning two games and drawing one to secure 7 points. Anthracite FC 2010G AFC Lyon finished second with 6 points, having won two matches and lost one.
The Girls 16U Division had a competitive tournament, with the following results: Bracket A: AC Inspire 2009 Premier - Black finished first with 4 points, drawing against Western Lehigh United SC WLUSC 2009 Girls - Hain in a 0-0 tie and winning against Tar-Kill Soccer Club Tarkill Thunder 1-0. In Bracket B, HEX FC Dominion USYS 09 G II topped their bracket with a perfect 6 points, winning both matches, including a 2-1 victory over PA Rush 2009 Rush Girls. PA Rush managed to win 1-3 against Northeast Cantolao FC, but fell to HEX FC.
In Bracket A of the Girls 17U/18U division, Brick Township SA BTSA Hurricanes (NJ) earned 4 points with a 2-0 win over Vereinigung Erzgebirge SC V E VE Strikers and a 0-0 draw against Philadelphia SC Coppa 08/09 United. Philadelphia SC finished with 2 points, drawing both matches 0-0, while Vereinigung Erzgebirge earned 1 point from a 0-0 draw with Philadelphia SC but lost 0-2 to Brick Township. In Bracket B, Mount Laurel United (MLU) Fire (NJ) also earned 4 points, winning 2-1 against Mo Soccer Academy Xtreme and drawing 0-0 with Warminster SC Strikers. Warminster SC Strikers finished with 2 points, drawing 0-0 with both Mount Laurel and Mo Soccer Academy. Mo Soccer Academy Xtreme earned 1 point, drawing 0-0 with Warminster but losing 1-2 to Mount Laurel.
Due to extreme weather forecasts including torrentially high winds and rain, the last two brackets were cancelled to ensure families were able to travel home safely before the storms arrived.
