The EDP Easter Showcase took place on Friday and Saturday at Tuckahoe Turf Farms in Hammonton NJ. Teams from top clubs from around the Region and Canada participated, creating exciting matchups during the entire event. The field of teams was comprised of more than 75 clubs, with teams from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Virginia, Massachusetts, Delaware, Ontario, and Quebec.

The EDP Easter Showcase delivered an exciting Boys 13U Platinum division, with Real FA 2012 NAL Boys emerging as champions after a nail-biting final against FC Copa Academy. Real FA topped Bracket A with two wins and a draw, including a hard-fought 3-2 victory against NJ Blaze. FC Copa remained undefeated in group play with one win and two draws. The final between the bracket’s top two teams ended 1-1 in regulation, but Real FA clinched the title 2-1 in a dramatic penalty shootout.
The Boys 14U Platinum division at the EDP Easter Showcase was packed with high-level competition and standout performances, culminating in a thrilling final. FC Copa Academy B11 ECNL RL NJ Central dominated group play, going undefeated with three straight wins and netting 11 goals. Their most impressive results included a 4-1 win over Pasco Atletico and a gritty 2-1 victory over Kearny Thistle. Kearny, meanwhile, bounced back strongly from that loss, finishing second in the bracket. Pasco also showed firepower, scoring 10 goals across three matches and finishing level on points with Kearny, only edged out on goal differential. In the final, Kearny Thistle got their revenge, stunning previously unbeaten FC Copa 3-0 to claim the championship.
The Boys 15U Platinum division was fiercely contested across two brackets, culminating in a commanding championship win for SJEB FC 10B ECNL RL. SJEB swept through Group A with three straight victories, including tight wins over FA Euro and Princeton SA, before sealing the deal with a 4-2 triumph over The Football Academy Black. Group B saw a three-way tie at the top, but FC Copa Academy edged out the competition on goal differential thanks to key wins over Future Soccer Academy and The FA Silver. In the final, SJEB FC capped off their dominant run with a 2-0 victory over FC Copa, claiming the title with a perfect record.
Medford SC United 2009 captured the Boys 16U Platinum championship with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over SJEB FC 09B ECNL RL in an exciting final match. SJEB entered the final as the top team from Group A, winning all three of their group games with strong defensive performances. Medford SC, unbeaten in Group B with two wins and a draw, showed consistency and attacking strength throughout the tournament. In the final, both teams battled intensely, but Medford’s clinical finishing and determination gave them the edge, earning them a well-deserved title.
PROSTARS FC 2008 BLUE capped off a dominant weekend with a 3-1 win over Washington United SC in the Boys 17U Platinum final. Both teams entered the championship match undefeated, having swept their respective group stage opponents with impressive offensive and defensive performances. PROSTARS stood out with a tournament-best +10 goal differential, while Washington boasted a solid +9. In the final, PROSTARS maintained their momentum and showcased their quality on both ends of the field, securing the title and finishing the event with a perfect 4-0 record.
Medford Strikers Academy Boys 2006 claimed the top spot in the Boys 18/19U Platinum group after a dominant showing across four matches. They went undefeated, scoring an impressive 15 goals and conceding just 4, including a key 5-2 win over second-place Princeton SA. Princeton finished just behind with three wins, but a crucial loss to Medford kept them from the top.
Woodbridge Strikers U13 took the top spot in the Girls 13U Diamond bracket with three wins and a draw, highlighted by a key 2-1 victory over second-place Gateway United. Gateway impressed with a strong showing as well, scoring 13 goals and finishing just one point behind.
Kearny Thistle United FC Paisley Athletic had a strong run in the Girls 14U Diamond bracket, going undefeated in group play with three straight wins, including a decisive 3-0 victory over West Ottawa. However, in a thrilling final rematch, West Ottawa turned the tables, drawing 2-2 in regulation and edging out Kearny Thistle 5-4 in a penalty shootout to claim the championship.
In the Girls 15U Diamond bracket, Medford SC 2010G Sky Blue dominated group play with two wins and a draw, securing the top spot. A.C. Connecticut G2010 NAL also had a strong showing, finishing second with a win and two draws. The final match between Medford SC and A.C. Connecticut saw a close contest, with A.C. Connecticut edging out Medford 2-1 to win the championship.
In the Girls 16U Diamond bracket, both Spirit of Liverpool USA 2009 Girls CELTIC MS and Back Mountain Youth SA 2009G - Black finished the group stage with impressive records, each winning two matches and drawing one. The final was a thrilling contest, where Back Mountain Youth SA edged out Spirit of Liverpool USA 3-2, securing the championship.
In the Girls 17U Diamond bracket, Pennridge Yellowjackets SA dominated Group A with a perfect record, finishing the group stage with 9 points. In Bracket B, STN NorthPenn G08 topped the group with a perfect 9 points as well, defeating Hunterdon FC and The Football Academy NJ. Pennridge Yellowjackets proved their dominance, securing the title with a victory over STN NorthPenn in the final.
18/19U Girls
In the Girls 18/19U Diamond bracket, Lancaster Elite was dominant throughout the event, finishing with a perfect record of 9 points. They showed impressive performances, with three shut outs. Cedar Stars Academy secured second place, despite a draw with BW Gottschee and a 2-0 win over A.C. Connecticut.
In the final, Lancaster Elite faced Cedar Stars Academy. After a 1-1 draw, Lancaster Elite triumphed in the penalty shootout, winning 3-2 and claiming the championship. It was a thrilling finish to a strong tournament performance by Lancaster Elite, solidifying their victory in the Girls 18/19U Diamond division.
