New Jersey Youth Soccer Futsal Championships 2025 Recap



The first of two weekends of the New Jersey Youth Soccer Futsal Championships 2025 Managed by EDP Soccer concluded with the 14U and older teams playing on Saturday at Iron Peak Sports & Events in Hillsborough, NJ. Over 170 teams will compete over the two weekends, featuring top futsal academies and MLS Clubs. The four highest scoring teams on the day were Success Academy Soccer Program 2007B Blue, FC Europa RL B09, New York Red Bulls – Bulls, and MDS Academy 2011 Girls. FC Europa RL B09 Team 2 and NJ Nationals FC 2011 Girls Select allowed the fewest goals.

The Red Bracket saw an all New York Red Bulls final. New York Red Bulls – Bulls finished group play 3-0-0 with wins of 5-2, 6-4, and 5-4, while New York Red Bulls – Empire reached the final with a 2-1-0 record. Both battled test through the group stage, it was a well-played final by two excellent teams, with New York Red Bulls – Bulls coming out as champions. In the White Bracket, New York Red Bulls – Bulls made it a clean sweep of the age group when they defeated Hudson Valley Futsal Chaos in penalty kicks in the final. 



MDS Academy 2011 Girls won the Red Bracket, using a strong attack and defense to go 3-0-0 in group play before their championship win. Opening up with 6-1 and 7-2 wins, they then recorded a 3-0 victory in their last group game. In the final, it was their highest scoring game when they defeated NJ Nationals FC 2011 Girls Select 6-4. In the White Bracket, Triple Threat 2011G defeated SUSA FC Futsal Academy G11 White in the final 4-0. 


In the Red Bracket, it was very close at the top of the table, with FC Europa - RL B09 coming out on top. Winning their first two games, they then played a back-and-forth match against CAT 2010 BOYS RED, coming away with a 5-4 win setting up a clinching final game. In their fourth game, they needed just a draw to clinch the top spot and got just that with a 2-2 result against NJ Nationals FC 2009 Boys Elite. 


Harrison Swarm 2010 won first place, defeating PTS 2010 Girls Neon 3-0 for the championship.  The win capped off their undefeated weekend, which started with wins over Cheshire Soccer Academy 2010 Girls Black and NJ14 Circe. 



NJ Nationals FC 2009 Girls Elite and Kearny Thistle United FC Paisley Athletic G2008 Academy played two extremely close games to bookend their weekends. Their opening game was a 5-5 draw, and then both won their next two games to meet again in the final. The final was a similar story, but this time NJ Nationals FC 2009 Girls Elite squeaked out a 5-4 victory to win the championship. 


Three teams ended the group stage with 2-1-0 record, with Success Academy Soccer Program SA 2007B – Blue and Logans LGNS being the two to reach the final. Just like the group stages needing a tiebreaker, the final needed penalty kicks to decide a winner after regulation ended 3-3. Success Academy Soccer Program SA won the penalty kicks 3-2.
