Daniel D'Ippolito, a former standout with FC Somers Arsenal, continues to have a phenomenal season with Fordham, who are now 4-1-3 on the season. The Sophomore continues to be one of the team's top performers, and had a goal and an assist in the team's 2-0 win over Manhattan. He also had a goal in the team's conference match against Saint Louis. D'Ippolito now has three goals and three assists on the season, and has started all eight of the team's matches.
During his youth career with FC Somers, he was a key member of one of the top teams in the Nation. With FC Somers, he reached the USYS Nationals in 2022 and 2023, and won the USYS Eastern Regional Championship in 2023. The team also won the USYS National League North Atlantic Conference and participated in National League P.R.O. where he was named U18 Best 11 in 2021-2022. At Somer High School, he earned High School All-America honors from United Soccer Coaches as well as won the New York State Gatorade Player of the Year.
