Congratulations to all players who were selected. The Best XI from the EDP Florida Competitive League Fall Playoff are:

ACADEMIA MÉTODO COIRA 2009 ELITE - DIEGO TOVAR #5

Diego Tovar was an integral part of the team's success this weekend. He was assertive and authoritative in the back. His ability to read the game and be an outlet for his teammates was impressive throughout the weekend and helped the team finish as a Finalist.

BARCA ACADEMY PRO MIAMI 2009 PRO - DANIEL VIDAURRE #6

Daniel showed a spectacular performance in all the games played, participating very actively in the moments of possession. He scored a total of seven goals, had eight assists, and helped the team a lot in building the game. He showed quality in all his actions during the game and gave a lot of balance to the team during recovery.

BARCA ACADEMY PRO MIAMI 2009 PRO - JUAN DIEGO GARCIA #4

Juan Diego's play secured the team's defensive line. When the team built the game up, Juan Diego gave very clean ball exits, and was very precise in his dribbling, passing, and intentions. On defense, he controlled his mark in addition to assisting his teammates. His smart positioning and space management lead him to an amazing performance in all the games.

BARCA ACADEMY PRO MIAMI 2010 DE JONG - SANTIAGO COLIMODIO #5

Santiago showed high performance playing in various positions that the team required from him. He alternated between center back and defensive center mid showing great skill with and without the ball. He understood at all times the free spaces and tempos to play, while managing the advantages and disadvantages to progress with the ball in the right way. His ability with the ball helped the team build a high level of attack. In addition to this, Santiago did impeccable work in the recovery moment, being very well placed at all times and being very effective in 1v1 situations to get the ball back for his team.

HUNTERS CREEK 2008 - LUIS BENITEZ #30

Luis had a fantastic playoff game playing as an attacking left back getting up and down the field. We couldn't have asked for more in the attacking and defending aspects against some fantastic high-level teams.

INDIALANTIC 2010 FORCE BOYS BLACK - COLETON ECKER #12

Coleton played center back every minute of all four games and contributed four goals and one assist. Over the weekend, he displayed calmness on the ball and had the ability to build out of the back under pressure while providing great service to the attacking players. Coleton, his center back partner and our keeper played as a cohesive unit leading to a great defensive weekend giving up the least amount of goals in the division.

MIAMI SHORES SOCCER CLUB 2011 BOYS TEAM ORANGE - ENZO GAITAN #20

Enzo took over the competition from the very first game where he scored three goals and one assist. He followed that up with two more goals and one assist in the second game, and two goals in the last and most important game. He contributed in nine of the team's 19 goals.

MIAMI SHORES SOCCER CLUB 2011 BOYS TEAM ORANGE - ADRIAN ALMEIDA #11

Adrian is a midfielder who controls the pace and flow of each match. In his role, he united the defense and attack, making the whole team play together and bringing balance to the game. With his vision of the game, game management and ability on the ball, he was one of the fastest players with ball at his feet at the tournament and helped the team win the EDP playoffs.

NONA SOCCER ACADEMY 2008 BLACK - MASON SANDERS #9

Mason showed his commitment as a leader in the squad with his dedication on and off the ball. His quality in making decisions about his movements and actions were on another level. Most importantly, he played in a new position and performed brilliantly and helped the team to a weekend of positive results.

NONA SOCCER ACADEMY 2011 BLACK - CHRIS DEGUELBRE #1

Chris was the biggest reason why the 2011 Black did not lose one single game at EDP playoffs. Not just because of his amazing performances and saves as our goal keeper, but because of his ability to lead the back line, making sure spaces were being covered and motivating his teammates at all times. He also saved a penalty kick in the second match.

PSG ACADEMY FL U14 CAVANI - MAKSIM SEDOV #17

Maksim helped the team both offensively and defensively. Between scoring and setting up goals, his defensive work was tremendous. His tactical awareness was second to none and was key to the team’s success.
