EDP Florida Competitive League End of Season Recap



The EDP Florida Competitive League Spring Season has concluded, finishing a successful second year. In the second full year of operation, the league saw top level competition in divisions throughout Florida, including North, Central, and South Florida regions.
 

In each of the three regions, more than 60% of games were decided by two goals are less, highlighting the league mission of a good game every week with limited travel. Each region continues to grow with more top clubs, creating more depth and quality match ups. This Spring saw:

  • North Florida with close to 200 teams from over 10 clubs

  • Central Florida with close to 200 teams from over 25 clubs

  • South Florida with close to 300 teams from over 50 clubs

The league also saw some great quality across the board, with 25 teams also taking part in the USYS National League Sunshine Conference. Strikers Miami FC Elite 2003 out of South Florida was not only only of the top teams in EDP Florida Competitive League, but one of the top teams in the nation going unbeaten in National League P.R.O. going 6-0-1, and will be competing for an USYS National Championship this July.
