EDP Fall Kickoff NJ 2024 Recap




The EDP Fall Kickoff NJ, the first EDP Tournament of the 2024-2025 season took place over the weekend at Tuckahoe Turf Farm in Hammonton NJ. Featuring over 100 teams from more than 50 clubs, players and coaches got ready for their upcoming season under perfect weather conditions.
  
From clubs with three or more teams in the Tournament, STA led the way in goals per game, followed by Jersey Shore Boca, then The Football Academy NJ. On the defensive side, STA Mount Olive held teams to the fewest goals, then Philadelphia Soccer Club.  
STA 2016B Black and Yorktown Fire were the top scoring teams in the Group Stages. Harrison Storm 2014 was the only team to keep a clean sheet in all group stage games, while four teams allowed just one goal, and two teams allowed two goals.

9U Boys 

STA Mount Olive 2016 Boys opened the weekend with big wins over Kearny FC, 17/16 Nova, and SJEB FC 16B White on day one, and on day two, defeated STA 2016B Black to win the championship. 


10U Boys 

STA 2015B Black went 4-0-0, defeating Takoma Park SC Dreamers Corintias 2015 3-1 in their final match to seal their undefeated weekend and finish first place in the Red Bracket. Jersey Shore Boca Jr FC Red Devils defeated STA Mount Olive 2015 Boys 3-0 in the championship of the White Bracket. Yorktown Fire won the Blue Bracket beating Cranford Development Academy 2015 in the final. 


11U Boys 

In the Red Bracket, STA 2014B Black, Futboltech 2014 – Juventus and New York SC B2014 White each finished on 6 points, and STA reached the final on goal differential. In the final, they would fall just short coming up against STA Mount Olive 2014 Boys, who finished the weekend unbeaten. In the White Bracket, SJ Futbol Club Flyers 2014 topped PSA Monmouth '14 Boys in the final. In the Blue Bracket, EGSA Kingsway Premier 2014 Boys defeated the previously unscored upon Harrison SC Storm 2014 in the final.  


12U Boys 

New York SC B2013 White opened the event with a 4-4 draw against PSA Monmouth '13 Boys Orange, and then rattled off three straight wins, including a big win over Ball Masters Lions in the final of the Red Bracket. In the White Bracket, Futboltech 2013 – Arsenal kept three clean sheets in their four games, including a 4-0 win over Match Fit Academy FC 2013 Boys Shore Blue in the final. The Football Academy NJ 2013 Boys Gold won the Blue Bracket defeating Cranford Development Academy 2013 in the final. 



13U Boys 

In the Red Backet BW Gottschee '12 II lost their only match of the weekend to STA MOSC Elite 64 12B, but when the two met again in the final, BW Gottschee came out on top in penalty kicks to bring the championship back to New York. In the White Bracket, Cherry Hill SC Blue Army 2012 finished first place with a 4-0-0 record. In the Blue Bracket, PSA Monmouth '12 Boys RL defeated Deptford Premier FC '12 Boys in the final. 


14U Boys 

In the Red Bracket, Sporting Athletic Club 2011 NAL and The Football Academy NJ 2011 Boys Silver both dominated in the group stages. In the final, the two sides went back and forth, with The Football Academy coming out on top of the high-scoring affair. In the White Bracket, PSA Monmouth 2011 Boys RL won the championship match 3-0 over SWSA Kingsway Premier Black Mambas 2011. Old Line FC Boys 11 Black won the Blue Bracket defeating The Football Academy NJ 2011 Boys Gold 3-1 in the final. 


15U Boys 

J.A.E Academy 10 finished the tournament 4-0-0, winning first place. They kept clean sheets in both matches Saturday, and on Sunday won 3-2 over second place Lighthouse SC Force, and 3-1 over Union SC Eagles Red 10.
