Over the weekend, EDP Soccer hosted the first half of the EDP Cup Fall Showcase 2023, annually one of the top college showcase tournaments in the region. The weekend hosted over 170 15U-19U Girls teams, with the Boys teams playing this upcoming weekend. There are over 120 college coaches pre-registered for the event, with coaches on site seeing some of the top talent in the region, as well as top teams from the Midwest, Florida, and Canada.
The brackets were very well matched, with only 23 teams managing to go a perfect 3-0-0 during the tournament. Cedar Stars Academy Monmouth, New Jersey Surf, and Warrington SC were the only three clubs with a perfect record. In total, 820 goals were scored across nearly 250 games, and NJ Surf South Shore 2009 Girls White with the most goals scored.

19U Girls
The 19U Girls Diamond Bracket had two teams finish with 3-0-0 records, as RUSA G2006 Gold and Sporting PA 2004 Girls did not give up a goal. Both teams showed why they reached the USYS National Championships last year, and look like teams who can return again this upcoming summer. FC Revolution Reds also had a strong showing winning two games and scoring eight goals over the weekend. Other bracket winners in the age group included North Union United SC 06F Wave, Match Fit Academy FC 2005/06 Girls Mercer , PESA Torcida, Cedar Stars Academy Monmouth 2005/06G NL, Warrington SC Strikers, Kearny Thistle United FC G2005 Paisley Athletic Academy, and Stamford FC Girls 05 Premier.
17U Girls
In the 17U Girls Diamond Bracket, NJ Surf South Shore 07G started off with a bang, defeating NYCFC Girls 2007/2008 South 4-1 before drawing 0-0 with HEX FC Dominion USYS 07G. On Sunday, they faced off against Brick Township SA Superstorm who was 2-0-0, and NJ Surf came away with a 3-1 win to top the bracket on seven points, one point better than Brick and West Deptford Fury 2007. Other bracket winners in the age group included Sporting Columbus Girls 2007 ECNL RL, TSF Academy 2007 Girls, FC Copa G07 Black Rutgers, Cedar Stars Academy Monmouth 2007G NL, Eastern FC Thunder 2007, Deptford Premier FC '07 Girls, and Harrison SC Lady Zolos 2007.
16U Girls
In the 16U Girls Diamond Bracket, YMS 2008 Girls Premier Spirit NL EDP and Valley FC 2008 EDP National Team both finished 2-0-1 at the top of the table, with the teams drawing 1-1 in their match-up. YMS opened the weekend with a 2-1 win over Sporting Columbus Girls 2008 ECNL RL, and closed the weekend with a strong win over one of the top teams from PA – West FC 814 Energy. Valley FC bookended their weekend with 1-0 wins, over Sporting PA 2008 Girls and 1776 United FC 2008 Girls Orange. Other bracket winners in the age group included Penn Alliance Select Elite '09, Pennridge Yellowjackets SA 2008 Girls, Voorhees SA Galaxy 2008, NJ Surf South Shore 2008 Girls, FC Berna Legacy 08 Girls Black, and Ocean Township United 2008G Revolution Red.
15U Girls
In the 15U Girls Diamond Bracket, Jersey Shore Boca Jr FC O'Hara continued to do what they have done at so many EDP Cups in the past – and finished in first place. Jersey Shore and Chicago Rush SC Rush United Phenoms G2009 both finished 3-0-0 in the group, each allowing just one goal. Other bracket winners in the age group included Warrington SC 2009G Storm, East Greenwich SA Kingsway Premier 2009G, NJ Surf South Shore 2009 Girls White, FC Berna Legacy 2010 Girls Black, and Morris Elite SC G09 Pre-USL.
