An Invite-Only Showcase
This prime recruiting event creates a best vs best atmosphere by featuring top teams from MLS Next, USYS National League, and ECNL, as well as EDP League, international and elite out-of-state club teams.
EDP Soccer deeply regrets to inform you that we will not be conducting the EDP Winter Showcase Boys 2024 tournament.
Our operations team has been closely monitoring the winter weather systems that have impacted the region this week and the snowfall forecasted for this upcoming weekend. In analyzing and comparing several different weather services, the extended forecast hasn't improved, especially over the last 24 hours.
In addition, our staff has been in close contact with the host facility, and they've informed us that, although it has been melting, there is still snow on the turf fields from this week's winter storm. They've advised that it will not melt in time, especially with the addition of over an inch of snow in the weather forecast for this evening. Games will not be safe or playable on the snow covered and frozen turf surfaces.
Also, the temperatures will be extremely cold, well below freezing, which a safety concern per the US Soccer Cold Weather Guidelines. These conditions will not allow EDP Soccer to provide the safe and competitive game day environment that your team deserves.
We will be communicating credit and/or refund options to all team contacts. If you have any additional questions, please email tournaments@edpsoccer.com.
